Hi everyone!
I am using Wade 7th edition textbook, and there seem to be many details unexplained on the NMR chapter.

In the ketones and aldehydes chapter, the C13 NMR spectra of 2-hepatanone is like so (attached picture) (left to right: 30, 208, 44, 24, 31, 23, 14)

My question is, why is the 5th carbon 31? The 4th carbon is 24, and the 6th is 23. Shouldn't it be 44, 24, 23, then 23 or something like that?
Predicting NMR values is hard :(
