coifficents

(1/1)

hardeep:
do coifficents count in finding molar mass like for example

2 C2 + o --->

would it be 4 * 12 or 2 * 12 to find the molar mass of carbon?

xiankai:
no they do not count. molar mass is a given constant. what u are trying to calculate is mass, dependant on the number of moles(which are what the coefficients represent). also, make sure your oxygen is a capital letter, and is there such a thing as C2?

hardeep:
sorry but it might be fake  ;D i just needed a quick example thanks for your help  :D
