Calculate the Ksp for the salt SrF2 whose solubility is 12.2 mg/100 mL

simply don't know where to start any help is appreciated

Can you use solubility to calculate molar concentration?

I can, but I was asking if you can. If you don't - feel free to sue your school, they failed to teach you one of the most basic things in chemistry. And judging from what you wrote above, at present they are failing to teach you about Ksp.

How many moles of SrF2 in 100 mL?

Please use the "sup" and "sub" buttons provided in the forum editor when writing such things.

Ksp=[Sr2+][F-]2

Using the ^ makes it fantastically difficult to sort out what is the "charge multiplier" on an ion and which is a power of a concentration term - and is completely unnecessary with a few seconds formatting effort.

You keep posting questions about Ksp. Please summarise what you know so far. Where are your equlibrium equations?

i get 12.2mg/100ml x 1000mL/1L x 1mol/125.62g = 9.7x10^-4

correct?

alright so i simply plug into

Ksp=[Sr][2F]^2

i get 3.66x10^-9

good?
