polyethylene glycol (PEG)
« on: April 04, 2010, 12:39:09 PM »
I am working with Polyethylene glycol PEG of different mol wt (200 to 3400). I am intresting in knowing about how to calculate its

 a  Radius of gyration

 b  Contour lenght

 c  end to end distance

Please let me know if there is some common formula which is applicable to find the above mentioned parameters for all the mol wt fall in this range (200-3400)

Start by finding the Kuhn monomer length for PEG.

Hi

I calculated the using monomer lenght of PEG as 3.5 A .But for calculating the radius of gyration i need formula which is well cited

               ie Rg =

So i need help in this regard asap
