Hi
I'm just wonder what the difference are between polarimetry, circular dichroism (CD) and optical rotary dispersion?
They all seem to use plane polarized light in order to determine the rotation of a molecule.

i know polarimetry differs from circular dichroism is that polarimetry using a fixed wavelength(589nm) while CD scans over a wide range eg 600nm-300nm
