If calcium iodate (s) is placed in an EDTA solution...

Calcium ions can be joined with a chelating agent called EDTA to form a soluble complex ion. If Ca(IO3)2 (s) is placed in an EDTA solution, what will happen to the molar solubility of Ca(IO3)2? Explain.

Would the molar solubility increase because the calcium ions are breaking off to form soluble compounds with the EDTA?

Yes. Think LeChatelier's principle - you are removing one of the dissolution reaction products.
