How many different declensions does the polish language have? I remember Latin... So many endings.

7 cases, 6 basic groups of nouns (plus a number of exclusions). But that's not all, there is also conjugation of verbs, and this one is much more complex. However, to make things easier we have only three tenses and no articles ;) And use of English tenses and articles is a black magic for most Poles (including me).

Don't worry, English tenses and articles can be close to black magic for people who speak English as a first language. Luckily there's both colloquial and formal English so you can usually get away with not being very adept at them as long as you're good enough to get your point across.
