Equilibrium Constant Of CuOH
« on: April 28, 2010, 10:51:23 PM »
Hello! Im new here!
And i'm looking for the dissociation constant, or equilibrium constant of CuOH or CuOh2 (I'm doing the Hydrolysis for CuSO4).
All i've found is the Kps, but it is not the same.

I need it for tomorrow soo pleasee help me!!

Please elaborate, it is not clear what you are looking for.

It is the equilibrium constant of CuOH, in the hydrolysis of CuSO4

CuSO4 --> Cu2+ + SO4

Cu + H2O --> Cu(OH)
Cu(OH) + H20 --> Cu(OH)2

and i need the "Kc" =D

Still not clear. There is no such thing as equilibrium constant of a substance. Equilibrium constant describes (quantitatively) reaction. There is no such thing as equilibrium constant foe CuOH. Besides, your equations miss charges and are not balanced, so it is not even possible to guess what you mean.
