Your question is not very specific so it will be hard to answer.

Lactams are best known for their role in antibiotics.

I write engineer project and topic is: chemical and microbiological methods obtain lactams. I must write:

1. generally about lactams - what is it and when using lactams
2. syntesis lactams methods

But about the second point I have to talk with my profoesor because he will inform me about what kind of methods I will be writing. At this moment i find some information about lactams and using them. So please, if you have more information about lactams send me.

I would appreciate a reply at your earliest convenience.
