Why sometime there is a doublet band in FTIR refer to the same molecule?

Hi,

Can anyone share with me that why sometime there is a double band or triplet band in the FTIR spectrum refer to the same molecule vibration?

In a molecule like polyethylene, the doublets indicate crystalinity.

hi, thanks... but why a crystalinity shows a doublet bands?
