AP Chem 10 test tube lab

I tried a search and didn't find anything so i guess i'll post my question

We're doing a lab in AP chem and have 10 test tubes, each one containing one of the following:
HCl
NaOH
NH3
H2SO4
Pb2+
Bi3+ in HCl
Fe3+
Cr3+
Sn4+ in HCl
Mg2+

*The anion is NO3- for the last 6 ions


I need to determine what solution is in what test tube using only the solutions listed above.  I also have a limited amount of each solution(about 8-10ml). So far i have found the following and i'm wondering if my reasoning is good:
Fe3+ - yellow/brown solution
Cr3+ - dark blue/greenish
NH3 - smell
HCl - forms white smoke when reacting with NH3
Pb2+ - forms a ppt with NH3


I have no idea how to find H2SO4, the Sn4+ in HCl, or the Bi3+ in HCl.  Any tips on how to find the others would also be appreciated.

Which metal salt gives a white insoluble sulphate ??

(I'm thinking about the other questions)

which metals ions have variable oxidation states? Do these oxidation states have different coloured solutions? Which other reagents can cause change in oxidation states (don't ignore metal ion and metal ion mixed). Which change in oxidation state might cause a precipitate? Look up the use of sodium hydroxide solution and ammonia solution (and one following the other) as test for metal ions. For the ions in acid what happens if you add a weak or strong alkali?

Not guaranteeing all combinations will produce definitive results
