Hi everyone,

Just a quick question here. What are the physical observations from reacting carbon with air (oxygen) to produce carbon dioxide? I know its a vigorous reaction, but what would I see?

Any answers here will be highly appreciated!

Thanks

By saying carbon, what are you referring to? It could be either diamond or graphite.

Aren't there hundreds of different possible observations in the subject of combustion in that sense?
