Do chemists go crazy like mathematicians?

I know mathematicians tend to go that way.  Are there any insane famous chemists?

Elena Ceauşescu - wife of the former Romanian Dictator (although her chemist status is disputed)
Margaret Thatcher - the insanity depends on your political persuasion though. ( famous for her chemistry on "soft" ice cream)
