Butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) in palm olein
« on: June 23, 2010, 09:08:46 PM »
hi,
there is something that confusing me in using BHA for palm olein, before this we put about 100g BHA per metric ton. and usually we dissolve it with oil until it become liquid (we get in solid form) and then we mix it with palm olein at 40-45 oC. what happen if we decrease the mix temperature to 35-40 oC. is there any side effect? can the mixture homogenize? or will it be layer in palm olein?
