Determination of hydroxyapatite or sodium thiosulfate

Hey guys!

Quick question: I need some sort of colorimetric assay or other determination method for either hydroxyapatite or sodium thiosulfate. They're in an aqueous solution together and I need to figure out whether any changes have occurred in the amount of free solute.
