How Much Does Chemical Analysis Cost?
« on: September 27, 2010, 08:18:54 PM »
I have a body powder self-made product (simple product tiny product) that is made locally in our village. I would like to send it to chemical analysts for extracting the ingredients, so i can make multiple samples of the product via manufacturers. How much Chemical Analysis cost? Over $5000? I need an approximate price just to have a clue before taking any action

You will not get approximate price, as it depends on too many factors. You need to know what type of information you are looking for, and it can get really complicated.

In addition to what Borek answered: the price ranges from $150 for simple metal scan test to $20,000 - $50,000 if you want to know major organic and biologically active components. The price also depends why do you do it? For pharmaceutical use it can be way more.
