I am planning to perform some experiments with slurry of pet coke+ MTBE and sulphur+ MTBE.
I just want to know whether the solids(pet coke, sulphur) react with my solvent. Regarding this issue, I couldnt find reliable info on the net.

I dont want any form of chemical reaction between them.

My solution: Calcine the solids before making the slurry to remove any impurities present in the solids.

It would be nice to hear any better suggestions.
