Producing Heat When Doing Work
« on: October 13, 2010, 06:06:11 PM »
Is heat always produced when work is done? I feel like heat isn't always produced, but I can't think of when this would be true.

Thanks :)

I think I might just be confusing myself, but do adiabatic processes count as doing work without producing heat, since q=0?
