Identify the Mechanism Question
«

I'm thinking # 1 is free radical halogenation? So it would be a substitution.
For # 2 is it two of them? I'm getting a rearrangment then elimination. Is that correct? If not what mechanisms are these?
Thank you!

The first one is a substitution ,but it's not a free radical process.
the second one is rearrangment of carbocation then elimination.
