RE: Brookfield Digital Viscometer or Capillary rheometer
« on: October 28, 2010, 03:47:12 PM »
Hi all,

I am researching on behavior of ceramic slurries (Non Newtonian fluid) and I need to measure the viscosity for stress calculations. I have a DV-II+ brookfield viscometer and a custom built capillary rheometer. Question is which to use?

The fluid is shear thinning, i.e., its viscosity drops with increasing shear rate.

*delete me*!

Thanks,
Anup
