Is there a hydrocarbon that is not a "wax"
Is there a hydrocarbon that is not polymeric?

what about:

A wax that is not polymeric.

Is there a hydrocarbon that is not a "wax" - Methane ethane propane etc. etc.
Is there a hydrocarbon that is not polymeric? - Methane
A wax that is not polymeric - It depends on your definition of polymeric a lot of natural waxes are mixtures of esters etc. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jojoba_oil  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spermaceti  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carnauba_wax
