Q, Kc & Kp Conceptual problem.
« on: November 06, 2010, 01:22:17 AM »
I am given $$ \Delta H^{\circ} /$$ &  $$ \Delta S^{\circ} /$$, and Temp (K)

I need to calculate $$ K_{p} /$$ at the given Temp (K).
I can solve for  $$ \Delta G^{\circ} /$$
then use this this equation:
$$ \Delta G = \Delta G^{\circ} + RTlnQ /$$

I just set $$ \Delta G=0 /$$ & solve for "Q".

My question is, will this Q value = $$ K_{p} /$$  or $$ K_{c} /$$ ?
