is this pretty easy reaction with the aid of NANO2? i saw a lot of literatures in aryl amine rather than alkyl amine. I do not see any reason that why this transformation cannot perform for alkyl amine.
do you guys have any literature on this kind of reaction?Thanks a lot.

Hello. This is with a primary amine bound to a secondary carbon. In both the authors went straight from the amino acid to the chloride. The experimental details are in the supporting information for the first.
