lower a freezing point with salts
« on: January 03, 2011, 03:59:49 PM »
Hello,

I know nothing about chemistry but I do know that salt NaCl lowers the freezing point of water.  What I am trying to find out is if there any other salts that lower the freezing point of water and if so which ones make the freezing point the lowest.

Many thanks

Paul
