Check my answer please

Iron Carbonyl can be made by the direct reaction of iron metal and carbon monoxide>

Fe(s) + 5 CO (g) → Fe(CO)5 (l)

What is the theoretical yield of Fe(CO)5 if 3.52 g of iron is treated with CO gas having a pressure of 732 mm Hg in a 5.50 L flask at 23oC?

My answer is 5.33 grams Fe(CO)5.

It differs from my notes which says 8.55 though I am sure I did everything right.

It seems that the answer in your notes is correct. Show your process.

I got

0.0630 moles Fe
0.218 moles CO

Which is also what it says in my incomplete notes.

We need five CO moles per mole Fe.

Moles CO/Moles Fe = 3.4

Co is limiting

There are 5 moles CO per mole Fe(CO)5

0.218/5=0.0436

Mass = 0.0436 moles x 195.9=8.54

I don't know what I was doing last night lol
