The ends of PVC
« on: February 14, 2011, 06:52:46 AM »
I have this question which I don't know what to answer and was hoping that someone could come to my help.

In practice, why doesn’t it matter to the elemental composition of PVC what’s in the ends of the chains in the polymer?

Thank you in advance!

(Forgive me if my English is bad)

Look at the molecular weight of the polymer...do the two endgroups really make a difference?
