molar fraction percentage problem
« on: February 06, 2011, 01:33:15 PM »
i was given the following equation to work out:

                NaOH
C6H5-OH -------------> OH-C6H4-CHO  -------------> OH-C6H4-COOH
                45 MOL%                              50 MOL%

  i'm suppose to make 1kg mass of the final product, but i'm confuse with the mol percentage thing. and how i'm suppose to use it to work out how much the initial substrate i need to make 1 kg of the final product.
