Does anyone know the equations of addition of ferrate (VI) to ethanol and 2M sulphuric acid respectively ??

Ferrate anion in acidic condition is the extremely strong oxidizer. Acetic acid is the most probable product of this oxidation

Hi:

I you sure about the need for H2SO4?

Ferrates in an environment with a Ph of 7 are very short-lived.

With very strong acid, I would expect no reaction (ferrates are decomposed).
