    I was thanking, i have a metalloid right before my very hands, everyone probably does.  I was wondering what makes aluminium a metalloid, what things can i do with aluminium foil that can display properties of metals and non metals??? Thanks for any suggestions.

I think Al is considered a metal, atleast that's what wiki says.

For sure it is a metal. There aren't allotropes of aluminum. It is not a semiconductor. In fact, it is one of the best electrical and heat conductors. Look at the oxidation states.
