PLEASE I need help !!precipitation problem (acid-base)
« on: April 05, 2011, 04:04:05 PM »
there is a solution which includes [H+]=0.3M, [Fe+2]=0.05M and [Pb+2]=0.05M and that this solution is saturated with H2S (means you take value [H2S]= 0.1M)
determine  PbS or FeS precipitation???
Ksp(PbS)=7x10*-29
Ksp(FeS)=4x10*-19

what do these Ksp values mean? This will tell you which will precipitate

in mathematical form:

Ksp (PbS) = .

do you know this?
