Tricky question for a job-related presentation
« on: April 06, 2011, 04:38:52 PM »
Hey guys,

I am stuck in a trouble choosing the topic of a persentation for a job interview.
This is an analytical scientist position in drug products and formulations.
I have been working in pharmaceutical industry for more than 3 years.
However, all I have done were client-specific and they were confidential.
I want to talk about something about in my graduate study, but that is industry free and nothing related to the job.
Do you have any idea on what I should talk about so it matches the audiens' interest?
Your answer will be greatly appreciated.

Ryan

You can still talk about your industry work without giving specific details. Give information on the general type of stuff you did and how, as well as equipment you have expertise in.

Thanks for your suggestion.
I once tried to give a general talk on one of my other interviews.
However, I found that the audients were not quite interested and it did not initiate effective communications.
I did not get to detail technical issue, at the time.
How could I demonstrate my capability to resolve problems?
