Improving Nutch filter operation
« on: April 28, 2011, 06:40:18 AM »
Friends , I am involved with Nutch filter operation where nickle carbonate slurry being filtered and yhen washed with hot water to remove impurities and reduce conductance. There ae four wash given for every batch with time interval , it consumes time and ater also. How can I improve the washing so that water consumed less and conductivity get down early ? It can improve production rate as we get the batch purified early.Regards,jayanti.virani@matthey.com

If possible, use either compressed air(if you can airtight close the filter) or water ring vacuum pump at bottom.
