most definitions i read say hypervolemia is defined as a abnormally high amounts of water/fluid in the blood. I'm looking at certain conditions that are characterized as hypervolemic such as congestive heart failure, cirrhosis and nephrotic syndrome. however all of these conditions can be characterized as having low blood volume, not high. Their overall extracellular fluid volume is indeed high but that is because of increased fluid in the interstitial regions not intravascular regions. So from this i would say hypervolemia means high ECF volume, but i'm still confused by the number of definitions that say high blood/vascular volume. Please *delete me*
