URANYL NITRATE
« on: January 01, 2008, 03:29:27 PM »
Hello - Over the years I have been putting together a element collection as money allows, I have been lucky enough to acquire the Uranium and Thorium Metals, mainly thru United Nuclear of course, but at this time I have been trying to add additional items related to the Uranium suite of my collection.

I am searching for a 5 ir 10 gram sample of Uranyl Nitrate so I canhave this sealed in a vial or ampoule
for my collection, I would appreciate anyone out there that might be able to assist me in my endeavor?

I know of many companies that sell it, however not to individuals, which of course is the catagory
I would fall in to.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

thank you

If you want the nitrate, you might actually have to make it.
Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex
