What behavoir has oxygen. Especially its in 100% real concentration form?

I know that iron will rapidly oxidize in LOX , my question is will / why will it melt?

Oxidising creates heat,so.. what will happen.

So, even though LOX is a cryogenic substance, the oxidation that occurs is rapid enough to melt hot iron?
