Smaller bubble size than that produced by a needle?
« on: July 07, 2011, 11:21:44 AM »
Dear all,

I wonder how to make fine bubbles out of a gas coming out of a needle and submerged into an organic solvent.

The size of the whole thing is a 2 ml vial.

What can make a bubble smaller than that coming out of a needle?

Regards

What is your needle size? There are different needle sizes, perhaps you can just get a smaller needle size.

Maybe a 1uL Disposable Micro Capillary Pipets?

Use a teflon tubing at the needle end, it will make a bubble smaller.

Put vial into ultrasonic bath, and you get micron size bubbles.
