Quantum Interference in electron transport through organic molecules

Can anyone break down "quantum interference" in the tunneling transport through aromatic organic molecules? The Math is a little fuzzy, but with a few seminal reference or a conceptual description i might be able to wrap my mind lips around this knowledge pop! haha. any help would be appreciated.
