hi
ive read that sassafras oil is like 80% safrole
30 gr = 30 ml right? how much do essential oils weight?
so if i needed 200 mg of safrole id need to dry 0.200 ml of sassafras oil?
am i right? please help

1g = 1ml only for water (at 4C).  To determine how much volume of sassafras oil you'd need to get a particular mass of oil, you would need to find the density of sassafras oil.

If you have a balance, weigh sassafras 1/.8 = 1.2 times the amount of safrole you need.

If no weighing balance, you need density of sassafras oil, not safrole. then (density/0.8)xvolume = weight of safrole.

If you don't know the density of sassafras, I would guess it's nearly the same as safrole since it's mostly safrole.
