sodium cyclamate
« on: September 10, 2011, 02:22:15 PM »
Sweet n Low packets have 34% of sodium cyclamate.
I have searched to see if there are any experiments I can do with it but all of the pages are for either buying it or research talking about when and what research was done about the health effects.

Can anything be done with it? I'm thinking in terms of organic chemistry.

US Sweet 'n Low has sodium saccharin, which can be used to prepare amines in a Gabriel synthesis. See the wiki. I don't know whether cyclamate can do the same thing. Maybe that can be your experiment. :)
