liquid mma
« on: September 14, 2011, 08:04:04 AM »
Hi everybody, I want to ask you about polimerization of mma. I now have liquid MMA. As a catalyzer people suggested powder DYBENZOIL PEROXITE (perkadox ch50L) I also got it and an air release additive called BYK-A 515. I also have some ratios of mixture but I've never done this process before. The reaction starts about 80C I want to prepare the mixture and pour them in some buckles or accessories like enamel and after polishing want to have a clear look. How do I have to heat this mixture for reaction? I heard that a normal industrial oven can be dangerous for mma. Do I need an autoclave or is there any other way to make it. I need your help... Thanks in advance...
