Need an answer pretty soon so here goes:

Brief

During the reaction of Sulfuric acid and Nickel(||) Carbonate.

You add the Nickel(||) carbonate to the sulphuric acid in small portions until all has reacted. You then filter the mixture and burn away half of the water and leave to crystalize.

Nickel(||) carbonate + sulfuric acid -----> Nickel(||) sulfate + Carbon dioxide + water


Question? - How do you know from the reaction that Nickel(||) carbonate is insoluable in water.

It is Ni(II), not some strange ||. Roman numeral.

I know its (II) I just didn't know what keys I needed to press.

Incorrect good sir on the second comment, it's something that happens in the reaction that tells you. Any help?
