EDTA titration of 0.150 M Nickel solution
« on: November 27, 2011, 04:48:11 PM »
So I am trying to find the pNi2+ when 35.82ml of 0.2094 M EDTA is added at a pH of 3.

Effect. Formation Constant= 1.08*10^8
Alpha4 (pH of 3)= 2.6*10^-11

Equation I am using is Ni2+=Sqrt(CNiY-[Ni]/(KNiY(alpha4))... Please don't mind the sloppy writing of the equation.

My only issue is how do you get the formal concentration (CNiY)?
