A couple quick questions on reaction rate energies
« on: February 09, 2012, 09:24:42 PM »
In my chemistry class we have been analyzing Potential Energy graphs for reactions. Two questions on my answer sheet that I am unsure of are:

1) If the concentration increases, describe the change in the graph: What happens to the product and reaction energies?

2) If the temperature increases, describe the change in the graph: What happens to the product and reaction energies?

* I know that on both there is no change in the graph, as only a catalyst can do this, but I am unsure about the second part to both. By the way, #1 exothermic and #2 endothermic.

Thanks!
