Sublimation curiosity
« on: February 19, 2012, 03:46:36 PM »
In thermodynamics we've always stayed at standard temperatures. I'm curious as to what the mathematical expression is for whether or not a solid will sublime at a certain temperature given the saturation state of the air around it. What variables will be involved other than saturation, temperature, pressure? Is there some sort of equilibrium coefficient for different solids?
