I can't decide whether I should edit your post to remove url tags or not.

Do what you want to my post lol! (I didn't put the normal url tag on the websites- it did it automatically).
It isn't even beneficiary for me! I'm just holding/reserving those websites for myself and I've had them forwarding to this website for a while (because thats the only 'free' thing you can do with them)- I couldn't think of anything else to forward them to.
I'll try and put some content on the websites then I'll post again on this thread.
Sorry if the question seemed kinda stupid- I just have absolutely no idea how SEs work :(. Now I have a better idea of how they work, thank you ;).

Edit: looks like I can't force forums to NOT add url tags even in my own post :( All I can do is to add space after www.

That fixed it!

I know, sometimes it is just overenthusiastic ;)

It is, even if you don't know about it. Every link to your site counts making content easier to be indexed and pushing it higher in the search results.

Try to install something like WordPress on the selected domain and forward other domains to it (don't display the same content on all domains - avoid duplicate content) - it will help you get started with creating your own site.

I put a weblink in a small banner that I created in my front page: http://engqmc.cjb.net
It's a phpnuke website about ChEng (in Brazilian Portuguese)...

I finally got some free web host thing that'll hopefully work with SEs!
The websites that work are:
www. willcornforth.com and www. williamcornforth.com (with spaces between www. and actual address!)
Hopefully these will count!? Will I need to make them more different?! Any advice on how I should change them?
If they do count, then I'll try and get my ".co.uk" ones to work (they'll take a little longer).
If all is well I'll post again with a tag I want for underneath my name, which I haven't thought of yet.

(I know as my main website that is quite wierd! I'll probably change it in the future and I'll edit this post and add the URL of where the link to chemicalforums is.)

Thanks.

Will17: That's why you are a shocker now..

lol thanks geodome! ;D (I checked out "shocker" on google (define:shocker) and I never realised it was such a negative term, esp. in Australia- I hope mike doesn't see that name!). If I had the choice, I probably would've chosen "Organic Dude" or something along those lines... Also, how do you get the blue beakers instead of the stars?

After my A-Levels I will learn HTML script stuff and make a proper website, but for now the chemical forums thing will do.

If you're surprised by the .com websites- check out www. williamcornforth.co.uk!!!

It's a pretty nice website with very useful information. Thumb up, will!

Thanks Albert ;)! Thats exactly what I thought; what more does one need to know than www.chemicalforums.com!?

(But I guess having a whole website dedicated to a link is slighly crazy, its better being a link than doing nothing though!)

Looks good to me, what special tag do you want?
Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex

Engineering Chemist (like geodome). It looks good, please.
Thanks, Mr. Mitch;D
Shortly I intend to remodel the website (using Joomla). And it'll be less pollueted and more useful. Suggestions are welcome!  8)
