DMSO/Water Infrared Absorbance Spectrum
« on: March 09, 2012, 02:11:36 AM »
Hello,

Does anyone have (or know of) a resource where I can find the absorbance of DMSO in aqueous mixtures (e.g. 1M DMSO in H2O), in the range of 800-1200 nm (near infrared)?

Thanks in advance,
Nancy

This might have the information you are looking for, and has a reference to other literature values as well.

I can't seem to access that article; does anyone else have another source for the spectrum of DMSO in water?

Also, I would appreciate any spectral info on the absorbance of both water/ethylene glycol mixtures and water/formamide mixtures.

Thanks,
Nancy
