I'm just curious as to why my thread about the permanganate reaction was locked.  It says b/c it was posted on two site.  I didn't know I couldn't post on two sites. I did a lot of looking into the reaction and was getting a lot of different possibilities...so I just wanted maximum possible input.

have you ever realised that the people who answer your questions at the other site are essentially the same people here?

Yes, I entertained that thought.  I also thought that there are some that only go to one site or the other....and would try to get the best of both worlds.

Mitch:
I tried to think of a similie all day and I finally found one I like. Posting in two different websites is like, asking for money from twodifferent friends for lunch and in front of each other. Although, you could have a great lunch with the combined lunch, the money from one would of been "enough".
