Element Collectors!
« on: April 03, 2011, 06:10:58 PM »
Hey Element Collectors! I have just recently started my own element collection. It is awesome! I would love to get in contact with some of you guys. please feel free to email me any time. I'd love to talk! I also had a question. Does any one out there, meaning you or someone you know, have any uranium or mercury? If so please contact me! I am also interested in any other elements. Also, if you know people that I can get into contact with that are associated with these kinds of things then please let me know about them.

Thanks!

Mercury is easy to come by. Go find an old Mercury thermometer. Not to hard to find on internet, or in stores.

Uranium is not as easy to come by.

United nuclear sometimes has uranium metal.
There was a guy who had glass vials of uranium on ebay. I think each one had 1 gram and was 20$.
Not sure where they are getting them.

For mercury, switches would have them. Some electronics store sell these.
I use to see thermostats with those same switches. Probably the Honeywell brand.
There are 3$ fever thermometers on ebay with mercury.
There are some blood pressure things on ebay. Sphygnomometer or some weird name. Lot of mercury in them. Buy the old fashion ones.
