How disposal of flocculation polymer
« on: May 06, 2012, 08:52:39 PM »
Hi guys, First I'm not good in chemistry. I have a problem : I need to dispose 20 000 liters of flocculation polymer (use in water treatement). I know the product in question is old and maybe outdated (If it degrades  ?!). Maybe someone here know a good way to dispose it ? or a way to re-use it?Cause I guess I can't just dump it the sewer ?

Its pretty simple, really.  Whenever you have a half a ton or more of something (or in this case, thousands of liters of something) -- you tell your current trash/waste handler what you have, and how much you have, then they tell you what they can do about it, and how much they'll charge you for it.  If your facility is large enough to store that much of anything, and you have the credentials to purchase that much of anything, you should be using a private waste handler.  Unless I'm missing something.
Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.
