Do you have any familiarity with dimensional analysis?

How many molecules per mole?

I know molecules = moles x 6.022 x 10^23. Would I just divide by 6.022 x 10^23 to get it in unit moles and then divide by 1000 to go from J per kJ? Not sure...

To convert number of molecules to moles - yes, you should divide by Avogadro constant. But you have Joules/molecule - molecules are in the denominator, so Avogadro constant will land in the nominator.

Jorris already asked - are you familiar with dimensional analysis? This is a perfect approach to this question.
